Got invited to Book & PaoEyy's wedding at Hilton Bangkok at the start of the year.

Another opportunity for me to go over to Bangkok and on top of that,

 to witness a different culture's matrimony...so why not! hehe

CHIANGMAI: 30 DEC 2012 - 31 DEC 2012

Here's a view from my friend''s hotel in Chiangmai, Thailand.

We welcomed the new year in Chiangmai for a change last 2012.

& so begins the 2nd half of my trip!

Bangkok 27 - 29 December 2012

Finally found some time for this super late post.

Here's a quick summary of my 3 days in Bangkok 

before flying off to Northern Thailand for the new year hehe!

½ past 2012

I believe i have neglected this space for almost half a year, so i've selected a few images to summarize the past half year.

In the second half of 2012, i have: 

1) celebrated my bday

2) won gold for crowbar (first time winning an award too)

3) experimented with science x fashion

4) made a rilakkuma-themed bento

5) tried hard to stay in school

6) first ever halloween in USS

7) knitted a scarf from scratch

8) spent new year in a new country

9) witnessed massive amount of beautiful floating lanterns drifting in the sky on new year's eve in Chiang Mai

& in 2013:

1) I will procrastinate less

2) upload my recent trip to bkk & cnx

this is 18 days late, but nevertheless have blessed new year everyone

2nd July, Monday

 

Vanilla Garden!

First time traveling by ferry from Wang Lang and wandering off to the strangest corner of Bangkok.

Found our way and caught the beautiful sun setting before getting on the Asiatique's shuttle ferry.

And of course, must-have dessert fix @ After You (again)!

3rd July, Tuesday

 

& yes, the long awaited and the badly craved ISAO!!!
Never will I find any better sushi bar in Singapore that is nearly as good as this.. ) :

4th July, Wednesday

Lunch at Audrey Cafe and Bistro and the Thai food is amazing as well

The place is tucked in the alley but the interior and ambience is really pretty and very much hi-so.

Supermarket trip to get my favourite kao tom. I guess it's pretty obvious how good it is hehe!

5th July, Thursday

 

This is hilarious hahaha!
It basically means no stupid people.

And im homebound.

I apologize for the overdose of food imageries & minimal subjects involved. Well aside from that, it was fun while it lasted. Befriended new people, experienced supernatural existence, chilled with friends, had beyond epic meals, virgin thai massage session, bkk's frustrating traffic, long walk in the rain and of course, thanks to you for making it happen joops!

This has become my routine everytime I'm over at Bangkok.

The tsukemen by Taishoken comes with piping hot fuji stone 

and it beats the Ramen Champion in Singapore hands down - including their service & ambience.

The legendary JJ chicken noodle. Literally melt in your mouth goodness

STICKY RICE WITH COCONUT ICE CREAM!!! 

Honestly, I've not tried the famous coconut ice cream there before.
but this is definitely something you should try! om nomz
It even comes in thai iced tea flavour
