01 JAN
^ Thai style Yong Tau Foo & that brown thing is blood btw
White Beauty.
Apparently, they named the tiger Justin Bierber.
And this is him doing the Gangnam style (when it was still popular)
The elephants there are trained to "wai" and do the same thing too.
Cats in heat..
Batman bear says hi!
1st day of 2013 was spent binging and visiting the Night Safari.
Squeezed into a tram in the chilly night weather and not understanding anything cause the tour guide was speaking in thai.
Nevertheless it was still fun when little piglets are running after the tram begging for more food.
Aside from that, got to touch an antler's horns.

Oh and of course, ended the day with more food..

Too bad i missed out the good version during this trip.
Decked out in Go-Kart gears (i suck at it btw)

Headed to Tiger Kingdom after.
Was hoping to hug a cub or something but they all looked so sad.
Nevertheless, didnt actually realize how cute tigers ears are hehe!

oh yeah... and more food.
The heat and grease from northern food is really kicking in and I am literally sick from it.

No joke.
2nd day of 2013:
Food (as usual), the X centre, bungee jump & go-karting and ending the night at Nar Mor market with some shopping.
Oh and met the fattest pug I've ever seen clad in diapers. hehe!

They had the best sushi buffet in the afternoon (which i've missed out cause I can't handle their crazy intake of food and grease) so i stayed in with fever and indigestion.
And ironically, these are the only pics I have of that day. MORE FOOD....
The restaurant was beside the river and if i was in a pink of health,
the location and ambience is actually quite enjoyable.
04 JAN
Love At First Bite.
Apparently their pastry are said to be real good.
But personally, i think it's mediocre.
Next stop: Gallery Seenscape.
(i can't rmbr the location cause it was so long ago)
(i can't rmbr the location cause it was so long ago)
it's 1/3 art space - 1/3 cafe - 1/3 shop
Some mini cupcakes despite all the sweet treats we had earlier..
The statue on the left is made of coins. The one on the right is half bear-half human.
Handicrafts made by the artists as well as some novelty items.
And finally, iberry - owned by Thai artist and comedian Udom
Apparently, it has been said that the lights above are made for him by his mother.
This quirky head is said to resemble the owner himself.
Visitors or diners can basically play/pose with it.
Ended the trip by writing wishes/ notes on the lantern prior to releasing them.
Honestly and ironically, the last day was actually the best.
Lesson learnt:
keep your friends close but your enemies closer.
