Got invited to Book & PaoEyy's wedding at Hilton Bangkok at the start of the year.
Another opportunity for me to go over to Bangkok and on top of that,
to witness a different culture's matrimony...so why not! hehe
26th Jan
Cynical Daria haha love that face!
Took an afternoon flight and arrived in the early evening.
My first time over to T's estate and of course my long awaited chance to meet Coze the corgi!
Apologies for the bad image quality because he can't stop moving.
Look at the cute tongue! hehe
A possible editorial spread..? Lol
I was so thrilled cause i do not have dog of my own ) :
Anw he is so strong and so easily distracted!
It is nearly impossible to get a proper picture of him.

Turned in early because the wedding is tomorrow!
27th Jan
Got up at 5am in the morning just to attend the engagement party at Hilton hotel.
Friends and family ushered the groom in by hollering a traditional cheer.
It was quite exciting actually!
Blissful smiles.
Happy for the newly weds! hehe
Happy for the newly weds! hehe
Sadly...we were the only one who showed up for the engagement.
That aside, here's to Book's signature pose haha
Awkward times call for awkward measures...
After the whole ceremony, the bride returns to her room while the
groom has to pick her up for the tea ceremony (which we did not stay for).
It was wholly a rather personal and private affair, which was a little awkward...
I had 2 servings of icecream (+ the squid eggs) because i was starving.
The first was the one served in the coconut husk.
And this is another version from a pushcart near the entrace of the market.
Honestly, the coconut one is overrated though it is still considered nice.
However, I like the thai tea ice cream with sticky rice more.
They are more generous with the serving of ice cream, sticky rice and peanuts.
Please try this if you haven't! I can't get enough of it!
After that, rushed back to get ready for the wedding dinner at night.
The newly weds cutting their cake with a sword haha
Bangkok boys
After party at Safehouse
♥ these two cutie pies
Drunk bffs...lol
The night ended with a bang accompanied by the
after party must have chicken rice under showers of blessing
Last but not least, yin dee duay na to the newly weds ☺
